Welcome to my little corner of the web.
Perhaps Dickens had the right idea about the
best and worst of times being one and the same. The phrase "these troubled times"
seems a bit more topical than it really is. All times are troubled, and every
generation faces its hardships. "These times" seem as bad to me as anyone, but
then to be fair we are all living in them, and so have a mutual vested interest.
Life is never perfect, and neither are we. Our flaws and limitations are a part of
us and help define who we are. We should not be ashamed of our troubles or failings,
but instead simply acknowledge who we are. If we accept our weaknesses along
with our strengths, then we may be flawed, but at least we are true.
